Snipe and Matsuoka head off to the training room, along with the others behind them, to meet their instructor, General Steel...who has the nickname Steel "Balls" for good reasons. After the grueling training, Snipe suggests that they go out so they all go to Bar Bikini. Maestro and Junior stick behind and eat, chatting together before Maestro goes out looking for Counselor. At Bar Bikini, Rio has a slight crush on Spirit, who quickly gets a little drunk thanks to Snipe's buying her a few drinks while he and Matsuoka chat. Trying to get the young boy to ask Spirit for a dance, Snipe gives up on Rio and calls the group out to head for home, letting Gravedigger drive the hover van back, which turns out to be a mistake later on. At the base, Maestro talks to Counselor, pouring out his feelings, but Junior. interrupts the two, thinking he's bothering Counselor. The group finally arrives at the base and meet Dias, who just arrived for the training. Entering the base, Dias chases after Counselor, trying to find out where he's going to stay for the night, hoping it's with her. Rio writes a note to Spirit, signing it anon. and sticks it on her door before heading off to bed. The two roommates, Spirit and Matsuoka, find the note and wonder who Spirit's secret admirer is.
The next morning, the group is awakened early by Steel for more grueling training. Snipe and his group that went out partying are sluggish due to their going out all night. This causes Steel to come down on them even harder when they fail another training assignment -- to run through a jungle in a certain amount of time. Deciding to let the Cadets go at it, he assigns the team to fight each other for more training before calling it off in disgust at how they battle and tells them to go shower up. But with the Cadets busily training, a heavy question remains at the back of their minds: will they pass and get on the unit?
Session 5: Back to the Sims
Diamondback decides to run the team through some training excerises as Snipe works on the death angle. Garland returns finally, only to find his son is hurt and in the MedBay. Deciding it best to send the boy back to Parnel, Garland himself decides to train with the team and, ultimately, joining them.
Session 8: A Romp Through the Jungle
Ripple decides to have a small training session to see what everyone's strengths and weaknesses are in an inflitration mission. Spirit, Matsuoka, Dias, Iceman, Avatar and Gravedigger are included in this mission which takes them through the Jungle to a 8 level fortress that is heavily armored. While it seems to be a pretty straight forward sim, suddenly Turbo, randomly selected by Ripple since he was an old enemy of Slash, shows up and proceeds to take down the team. They barely manage to prevail and escape from the base before it explodes.
Session 11: On the Path to Heroes
The Special Unit are about to learn the meaning of teamwork as Snipe, Maki, Grave, Ripple, Spirit, and Garland travel with Kyp to his base. Their mission: to destroy the satellite and escape without a confrontation with Cain. But things never work out like they are suppose and as Garland takes on the main Mavericks forces in a strange battle to the death, the others sneak into the base, slowly working their up up to the top. Upon arriving, they find Kyp near death, warning them away from Cain before dying. Enraged, the team leaps to the roof and begins to battle Cain as Ripple and Spirit take out the satellite, blowing up the base. The group barely escapes with their lives, but they have saved the entire world for the first time.
After battling with him for what seems to be forever, even Steel, the strongest of them all, is no match against him. After serveral blows, Steel is taken down, but his defeat gives Diamondback and Avatar a chance to take Conviction out, who is revealed to be Sigma!
Sigma, preparing to kill them all, is then attacked by Snipe, who is finally healed. Together, the Special Unit drives Sigma back, destroying his fortress as it rises into the air. Sigma switches to his viral form, only to be taken out by the group - sending him crashing into the planet below. Now the Maverick resistance is over....what is to become of the Special Unit?
The announcer on the station calls that a tournament is going on, so everyone heads there, including Ace Hunter. Upon arriving there, they split into their own groups and begin to battle it out with each other. Ace Hunter proves to be a worthy match and manages to defeat Snipe, and Dias is defeated by Paladin, while Garland is defeated by Diamondback, Avatar, and Spirit. Garland and Snipe get into a friendly battle, in which Snipe loses, again, while Paladin and Slasher go at it, and the other three battle Ace Hunter. In the end, Ace Hunter wins the cash prize when Snipe forces them all to head back to Earth, worried about a strange blank transmission he received.
The attack is launched on the Armed Forces HQ and Spade's house, both quickly being destroyed. General Steel, Grave, Ripple, and Iceman struggle to hold the fort down while Snipe, Paladin, Garland, Dias, Slasher, Avatar, Diamondback, and Spirit land at the base, blocked in by an attack they never saw coming! Together, the group heads out to rescue as many members of their unit as they can and escape the base. However, the price begins to prove high when Iceman is forced to sacrifice his life to assure that the group can continue on. Joined by X2 and Garland's daughter, Sharlena, Snipe leads the team to the teleporter room to teleport them to the spacestation Freedom when Xevil crashes the party, already having killed Steel in one blow.
Xevil, thinking he had the unit trapped, began to gloat and tell them about his battle with General Death Star and claims he killed him! Snipe quickly launches a destracting attack while everyone teleports up to the station above Earth and Snipe quickly follows, with a pissed Xevil blowing up the teleporter room. Now it's a race to escape the planet Earth and Xevil.....
Session 25: Dead Earth Part 2
On the run and with time running out, the Special Unit is hurrying through the hallways of the space station Freedom, trying to reach the universe's biggest ship ever built, the Fury, which is docked inside. However, they must witness the terrible destruction of their planet below...will Earth ever be the same? And with Xevil arriving on the station, hot on their heels, it's going to be one hell of a battle to reach the Fury, as Paladin's knowledge may be the only thing that can save them. When they do manage to reach the Fury, where Admiral Drake and Maestro are fighting for control of the ship, they must ram the station dock's doors to escape.
In a desperate bid to save some of humanity, the Fury activates it's teleported and manages tp teleport a half a million people from the dying planet - but the strain destroys the teleporters, rendering them useless. But as they finally begin their escape from Earth, the alien's have other plans, and a mysterous call from someone barely saves their lives - warning them of a trap laid out for them. Arriving at the old Hunter HQ, they fly down to it and make a vow to stop this war once and for all, renaming themselves The Hunters in honor of the first team who beat the Tsivrixsh. However, Xevil attacks the station with them on it, and the old run-down station cannot survive and is destroyed, with the Hunters barely escaping to the Fury and leaping into hyperspace, heading for Foreigner Inc.
Session 27: Rejected and Alone
Snipe leads the team into the hands of Foreigner Inc., with the thought of Paladin leaving the team at the back of his mind like a bad thought. Expecting Earth's biggest supporter and ally to aid them, the Hunters are all slapped in the face with the cold, hard truth - Foreigner Inc won't help. The leader of the Inc. gives them money, food, supplies, and even fuel powered shuttles, but refuses to battle along side them to free Earth. Exploring the shuttle, Spirit and Ripple reach a new height in their relation by connecting to a web that links together, and Shell buys an object from a store, while Maestro thinks that Foreigner Inc. is being manipulated by the Tsivrixsh, and Airier destroys tracers that is all around himself, while finally Snipe is growing antsy with waiting around. When they finally leave though, a joke turns sour, and Gravedigger causes Snipe to crash land the shuttle on the hanger bay of the Fury. ....will the new Hunters rise to the challenge of remaining a team, something even the old Hunters learned how to do in the end, or will this new generation fail?
Session 29: Figuring Out What's Inside
Where has Paladin been during these past few days? Having quit the Hunters, the experienced fighter wanders the Fury, attempting to make a living for himself. However, when he gets involved with a woman, his life gets the ol' turnabout and he ends up in MedBay. Leaving the MedBay, after persuading X2, he looks for his love, who had shot him, and finds her gone. But things can't settle down for him, because Xevil's launched an attack and the Fury is in his sights. Quickly escaping the Fury's MPs, hired by Snipe, he heads out into space, heading for the Xevil's Terror.
Session 30: Maximum Cloneage and Carnage
What might possibly be the final battle against Xevil begins with a ..... personal shuttle sent by Xevil to collect the team. Diamondback, Elayne, and Airier ride down on a Hunter shuttle and join them. Snipe then sends Dakota, Avatar, and Grave back to the Fury for back up, taking DB's shuttle, while everyone else boards the ride Xevil sent, heading up into the Xevil's Terror. Once on board, Xevil challenges them to battle in the Arena, but only Garland takes the offer, blinded by his rage. Snipe leads the rest of the team to blow the ship up, knowing that's more imporant than the need for revenge.
As Garland and Xevil battle it out, the rest of the Hunters have to attack the aliens and work their way to the core. Airier leaves to aid Garland and reveals he's some type of weird Spade project to mimic that of the real Death Star. Garland instantly thinks he has his best friend back and begins to defend the fake clone's life as they both attack Xevil, who continues to gain the upperhand. Meanwhile, the rest of the Hunters, after taking some strange elevators, arrive at the core and attempt to blow it up, when suddenly Xevil attacks them mentally, showing he can carry on two battles at once! Managing to succeed, however, in blowing up the core, the team rushes up to the Arena where they all attack Xevil in great force, hoping to over power him. It looks like Snipe, Garland, and Airier's combined might succeed, but Xevil blasts Airier to near death and quickly deal with Snipe and Garland. Pinning everyone on the wall, he prepares to kill them all when Paladin attacks him.
The Hunters are freed once again and the fight continues, until Xevil is forced to teleport everyone to the shuttle and send them flying to the Fury, so he can deal with Airier. Xevil quickly destroys Airier and leaves the Xevil's Terror as it explodes. With Paladin back, Garland's heart broken over the death of a fake clone, and mysteries still out there, the Hunters fly off, with Xevil alive and well...and still after them.
Session 31: Resistance Against Death
Meanwhile, back on Earth...
Dominator has formed a resistance against the tyranny that has seized the planet. However, with deadly Vultures, Angers, Executors, and Zombies, can he possibly lead a rag tag team of survivors to victory? The Resistance wanders to the spot of Spade's rule and finds his skeleton laying there, Spade having died during the attack on Earth. There they are met by Wiendigo, who is all too alive and well after his "death" in Session 100 of The Alien Wars. With the team heading out after a Vulture discovers them, they head for a place called 'Paradise', a supposed place that wasn't destroyed when the planet was attacked. Dominator decides to lead them across the Blood Ocean and to the other continent, heading for the Wastelands. As the team heads off in a rusted bucket of bolts truck, can they reach the Blood Ocean? And can they save the planet from it's horrible predicament?

Hoping to take over the newly formed alliance between the reploids and the Hunters, he is shot down by the team and Snipe remains the leader. However, as the three of them unite in a shakey alliance... knowledge of Death Star comes into hand.
Session 36: Anniversary: I am the Wind
The Hunters are confronted by Xevil, who shows them the power of the Ti'dah by blowing up the nearby star, causing it to begin to collapse in on itself and destroy the star system. Garland attempts to fight him, but finds himself seriously outgunned when a figure called Wind shows up and attacks Xevil, allowing the Hunters enough time to escape from the planet. However, upon escaping Snipe knows it's going to take some serious talking to gather enough forces to take on the Ti'dah in a battle for it all.
Session 37: Anniversary: Crossing the Sea
Meanwhile, back on Earth...
Dominator continues to lead the rag tag team of survivors towards the Wastelands, in hopes of finding this 'Paradise'. However, crossing the blood ocean might prove to be too fatal when the creatures guarding it begin to pick them off easily as the Resistance is poorly equipped. Once they begin crossing the ocean, the boiling ocean begins to eat away at the boat, forcing the team to soon have to fly over the Alantic Ocean, heading towards Europe. Upon arriving, they decide to head to Paris, France, in hopes of finding some resistance members in the ruins of the city.
Session 39: Anniversary: Assembly Redux
What's this?! While the forces of good gather together, it looks like evil is doing the same thing. But who is their key figure in the battle? Is it really Slash who will be taking the Hunters on? And what about the Ti'dah?
Snipe leads a crazy suicide mission inside the Ti'dah while the fleet that Gravedigger managed to assemble attacks the enemies' fleet. However, this won't be a short or soon forgotten battle as even the Counselor decides to come along, for emotional support to the crew.
Sneaking onboard, the group immediately finds themselves under attack by the most deadliest of traps...including enemies from the past, like Vile, Crucifixtion, and The Elder! After they manage to defeat them, Xevil shows up...along with Slash, who takes the entire team on. Soon, it's Ripple vs. Slash in a battle in which Ripple wins!
However, when Xevil shows up, it seems that Blackjack might seriously be injured. Enraged, Garland takes him on alone as Diamondback, Snipe, Ripple, Spirit, and Slash try to help their injured comrade. However, Xevil proves to be too much for Garland until Wind shows up, knocking Xevil back. Deciding to run, Xevil splits and Wind reveals himself to be...Albert!
The group heads to the control room where "The Five", five members of the Tsivrixsh Council, meet them and the battle breaks out. The Counselor takes out the super weapon...however, the cost is her own life. Unfortunantly, the weapon was already fired and the star is destroyed, causing the system to collapse. Albert sacrifices himself to keep the five council members busy and the Hunters escape as the Ti'dah is destroyed
...However, the Ultimate Weapon used by CorSec during War is brought back by Spade. And he uses it to attack the Hunters! The team rushes on board the Ultimate Weapon and Snipe takes Spade on one on one as the rest of the team takes out the Ultimate Weapon. Everyone escapes..only to have their shuttle give out and begin to plummet. Ripple and Slash form a portal and the team teleports off to a strange new planet. But have they come this far only to die?
Death Star, who has finally shown up at long last, and the final pieces of the puzzle are placed down. However, things aren't going to rest for long as Xevil has shown up for the final battle.
Session 42: The Cold Equation Part 1
The battle begins as the Hunters, along with Death Star, gather together to take on Xevil's forces, which are set up all around the planet. Eight prime locations under attack, and each decision the team makes affects later outcomes. Dias and others will have to come to terms with themselves that losses must be made for the greater good. And Paladin's back, a hostage of one of the Tsivrixsh forces. However, can he and Death Star re-establish a relation after their fallout at the end of the Year Long War? And what does Xevil have in store?
Session 43: The Cold Equation Part 2
The Hunters - Snipe, Death Star, Avatar, Ripple, Slash, Garland, Spirit, Dias, Blackjack and Maestro - head into the base that was once Death Star's. But with Xevil controlling the brilliant Death Star's traps, their chances of escape are cut down extremely...especially when Death Star is taken hostage by Xevil. They have to force their way through the halls, Snipe and Avatar soon joining DS in the clutches of Xevil. And Ripple is almost fatally wounded, but is barely brought back to life -- in time for the cold equation to begin by Xevil. 3 hostages - and the Hunters have to choose one who will live out of the three. The debating goes on as the team has to make one of their worst decisions ever, and after everyone has voted --- the tie breaker falls upon Spirit, who forces herself to choose....Snipe.
Death Star and Avatar are teleported away and the battle breaks out against Xevil, who proves to be top strong for them all. Before they learn his dodging trick, Snipe however is the first one to nail him, allowing him and Garland to team up against Xevil. However, as the battle progresses, Xevil wipes the psionic's minds --- only to be freed by Snipe in the nick of time. Garland pumps up on Hyper and begins to attack Xevil, who still manages to take the hits in stride --- until the death blast from Avatar comes flying up through the ceiling, who dies protecting Death Star.
In retaliation, Xevil attacks Dias, who is destroying his crystal and blinds him permanently right before Death Star drops in to free Garland from his clutches. The Hunters all gather their last attacks together and kill Xevil together. However, the base begins to self-destruct and it's a race to escape --- but they fail to make it out in time before the explosion. Is this the end of human life or the beginning of a new era?

Drake decides things are beginning to heat up and it is time to gather the Alliance's remaining forces - mainly Sigma - to come join them for a plan of action.
Far away, however, the Red Beards launch their attack against the station, Red's plan revealed. Gazer set up some equipment to warn everyone off the station before they attacked so as the Red Beard launches it's attack against the station, the civilians flee. On the Fury, Admiral Drake begins the execution of Slasher, while Shell X, Spectre, Xrileshr, Sharlena, Gravedigger, Avalon, Index, and Cheryl have to witness it. However, after Cheryl and Slasher come to the brink of expressing their love for each other, the execution happens and Index is all too happy. But when he comes to brag about it to Spectre and Gravedigger, Admiral Drake plays his hand and Slasher, who lived with the aid of X2, stops Index. Paladin is brought in as Index escapes and all hell breaks lose on the Fury as they track him down. But when Index is cornered, he self-destructs and kills Sharlena, Garland's daughter. Elayne comes in time to see her friend die and mourns for her along with everyone else and Drake is blamed for it! But before things can calm down, a visit from the 2nd Council Member of the Tsivrixsh Empire occurs.
Back on another planet, the Hunters under Snipe have a party, aas Death Star and Garland spar and Snipe has sweet bliss with the natives. The others plot what to do next when the Red Beards arrive, led by an angry Red, who is cooled slightly by Gazer. However, miscommunication leads to a battle between the two groups, in which Ace Hunter and Gazer watch in dismay, until Orlonre is killed. The two groups reach an understanding and repair the Red Beard and head off to end Lord Talon's reign.
Back on Earth, the Resistance moves into Paris, only to be attacked by Earth's governor. Wiendigo and Dominator attempt to take the machine out that the governor controls, but fail, and Matrix self-destructs himself to destroy it, saving the others. But they learn their fates may be cut short by an incoming meteor.
Admiral Drake and the others make a deal with the 2nd Council Member, against Xril's wishes. They make a deal to work together to defeat Talon. The female council member sends the team off to see if a claim is true that Spade is the mastermind behind the Endgame, but after a strange bizzare of events, in which Gravedigger and Paladin discuss normal things, they learn that Spade is nothing more than a vegetable, and Lord Talon is the mastermind. The group quickly heads off to his planet to defeat him.
Meanwhile, the Hunters and the Pirates arrive and the Hunters are captured by Lord Talon. Red and Riptire must make a difficult decision placed by Gazer to aid, against Azazel's wishes, and heads off to rescue the Hunters. But inside the prison, they are being tortured and BJ's back is trashed once more, crippling him as they escape from the prison and land on the Red Beard. They head off and Death Star finally goes head to head against Snipe on his freezing up and the truth is revealed as Snipe tells of his past and the death of a little boy.
The team then attacks the satalite, hoping to stop the meteors from launching, but fail as one takes off. Red crashes the Red Beard straight into meteor in the only attempt they to catch up with it.
Back on the Fury, the others arrive in time for the meteor to fly by and Talon launches an attack, kidnapping Elayne, the final piece of the Endgame puzzle. The others leap into the portal after her.
Back on the meteor, Red says his last words before dying, leaving Azazel with a feeling of nothing . . .but revenge. When the others teleport to them, the entire group heads into the meteor where Slash is hooked up to the machine known as 'Endgame', powered by all the Robot Masters, Azuls who acts as Protoman, and Slash, who acts as Zero. And Elayne and the DS human clones act as the focal point for the weapon. The battle breaks out, with Avalon fighting against Shade Man and Death Star against Slash, who has been programmed to kill them all. The others attempt to escape as the Endgame blows out of control.
After a long, confused battle, the group reaches the surface, with Slash dead behind them. Death Star is weak from his battle and lets the others take on Lord Talon, who battles Ace Hunter to the death. Arriving to aid them, Garland learns of Sharlena's death and goes physco, trying to destroy Talon in a fit of rage. But as the battle continues on, Talon destroys Shell X's programming and destroys him, then kills Diamondback in one blow.
Garland sends Talon into a suicidal role as the energy is crackling around the meteor but Snipe knocks him off, only in return to by almost killed by Garland. The other Hunters heal him barely and right as they are all about to be caught up in Ground Zero, Death Star comes in and teleports them to the surface, where Drake and Slasher teleport them back to the Fury.
Now the Red Beards are led by Gazer, with Azazel quitting the group. Garland is left on the verge of death within his very soul and Elayne has Death Star, who is like her father - since she is the daughter of Airier, a clone of DS. And weirdest of all is Diamondback, who's body was wiped out by Talon, is now stuck in his girlfriend's body.

Death Star goes head to head with Wiendigo, but cleverly frees the trapped Hunters, who haven't passed out due to the exhaustion of the drug Wiendigo has induced upon them earlier. As they head to the bridge to save Drake from death's door and stop the incoming fleet of Tsivrixsh battleships, Death Star and Wiendigo battle along the halls of the Fury, going at it further and further, even into space as the ships open fire on the Fury. However, Wiendigo sidetracks Death Star and heads to the bridge, carrying the fight to the other Hunters, who leap into hyperspace, almost destroying Death Star, who's out in space - for anything in hyperspace is immediately ripped to shreds.
The entire group goes after Wiendigo, which conflicts with Death Star's battle and causes him to have to watch out for the others, giving him a harder time, and in the end resulting in a battle wound when he saves Snipe, sending Wiendigo and himself spirling into the core of the Fury. However, that's when it's learned that Wiendigo is really Digo, who managed to survive his last encounter with the previous Hunters twenty years ago. Death Star manages to blast him down into the core, leaving him for dead. Plus conflicts spread, as Spirit no longer seems interested in Ripple, Diamondback has been missing, Snipe is growing weaker, and Cipher is not your average hero.
Garland and Death Star: Step by Step, Day by Day
Death Star and Garland finally have it out - talking. In Death Star's simulator, can Death Star and Garland finally reach an understanding that will ease Garland's pain over Sharlena's death and his "betrayal" to Death Star? And will Garland learn the truth of "the future"? AND will he learn about Death Star's increased power? Well, some of those are answered. Also, they go back over all their times together back in the Year Long War and learn things about each other, and memories, they had buried. But in the end, at the place of UO's death, will Garland stand up to his fears and defeat them? This marks the beginning of Garland's new path.
Session 60: A Houdini Trick Part 2
In X2's MedBay, the Hunters face confusion and chaos when they learn X2 can't switch them back. However, that's the least of their troubles, as the squirrel, posing as Gravedigger, goes around pissing off the underworld of crime on the ship, who then try to kill him. Unfortunantly for Gravedigger, the squirrel frees the manager, who is all too happy to hunt down what he thinks is Grave. Gravedigger, finally pissed off beyond all means, attacks the manager inside the elevator while X2 captures the squirrel. However, Gravedigger gets carried away and knocks the manager down the elevator shaft, almost killing him in the process, leaving the man crippled on the bottom. Diamondback returns him to the prison block as the other Hunters follow the computer's advise to move back onto the station - seeing as it's plunging into the nearby star.
They quickly head for the station, only to be attacked by multitudes of slugs. Dias finally arrives in Slasher's latest project, which he had been working on for the past few days - a space mech, and holds the slugs off as Death Star crash lands them into the station, almost going through the entire thing and crashing out the other side. They manage to survive and are attacked by the slugs, who form into one giant king slug, which then attacks them.
Diamondback and Spirit, who is out of body herself, fights the slug. Spirit (the one who was Spirit, it seems that Spirit was replaced before all this by another, resulting in the conflict between her and Ripple) and the others power up the last bit of energy in the teleporters and teleport. Dias, in the mech, Diamondback, and Spirit battle the king slug in an all out battle in the hanger, thirty seconds away from the star, when the others arrive. Death Star and Snipe however, have not changed, and they lead the way to the abandoned shuttle from the previous trip to the station, powering it up and flying off as the station crashes into the star.
Back on the Fury, the group is distressed that Death Star and Snipe are the same - but the King Slug returns. Dias/Diamondback in the mech, Garland, and Spirit (the spirit Spirit, not the body spirit, confusing, eh?) head out to battle it while the others watch. With Ripple's aid, the four manage to throw the king slug into the star, destroying it, but Garland's blast hits the star, making it go irregular. Now the question remains - how to switch Death Star and Snipe back?
Climbing the mountain, Death Star becomes sick in Snipe's body and is unable to help when a mountain slide threatens to crush them all. Snipe is the one who comes through, saving the group from death and helping them reach the top. Upon warping, amazingly since the blade shouldn't have done it, they arrive on the Fury to learn the planet is about to be destroyed by the star's irregular pulse and the computer has decided that the only way to switch them back is to go into the exploding planet.
Snipe takes off, leaving an angry Death Star, who thinks his body will be destroyed going into the atmosphere since the jetpack will burn up doing that and will kill him. He grabs Dias' mech and flies after him. Garland asks the computer if it'll work, and learns the computer just made the idea up while drinking coffee. Angered, the group is helpless and can only watch the two plunge into the planet. Using his special comm. with Death Star, Garland manages to get through and learns they both lived - and are back to normal. But how?
As Dias and Snipe become Eve's love slaves, they begin to attack the bridge to gain control of the ship. Death Star is missing and Slasher's two new mechs are useless inside the ship. Gravedigger, Ripple, Garland, Drake, the computer, and Diamondback are alone to face Dias, Snipe, and Eve when they attack. And soon Ripple joins Eve.
As the battle breaks out and Eve sends the good guys on the run, Garland contacts Death Star via the special comm. However, Ripple also contacts him via the normal comm. and tries to get DS to ignore Gar. Dias, transformed into Dark Heart, chases after Drake, ordered to kill him, and Grave gets smashed by the elevator to help everyone else to safety. Death Star comes to their aid and the battle tides turn on Eve, when Ripple comes to his senses. Eve and Dark Heart are quickly beaten, Snipe taken out of the fight earlier by Diamondback's ice attack, and Eve is actually understood by Gravedigger. He leads Eve off to be detained and help X2 to transform Dark Heart back into Dias. But now, with the team almost having destroyed each other, Snipe knows it's time for reforms.
Session 66: Resistance is Futile
As Baberlus leaves with the enemy, the Tsivrixsh forces prepare to wipe out the Resistance once and for all. As the battle breaks out between the two sides, Iceheart finally awakens. However, she has no memory of anything so far - not even her attempts to kill Death Star. As the team fights their way through, Wiendigo and Iceheart are immediately at strange odds with one another - will Wiendigo end up killing Iceheart, or something else? Giving her his coat, Iceheart dons the trenchcoat as if it's natural. Finally, the team manages to sneak their way into the Tsivrixsh battleship, where they encounter Baberlus once again. As the Tsivrixsh Warrior known as Xriletsone and Baberlus fight the group, it becomes obvious taht Xriletsone holds honor above all else - his actions thus far proving so whenever he saves the team from an unhonorable way of dying in their battles with each other. However, when the team asks him to join, it becomes too late as the ship begins to explode. The Resistance is forced to escape, and Xriletsone gives Baberlus a shuttle to escape on. In the end, the team has one last duty to helping free Earth: Stop the Tsivrixsh cruiser that's going to destroy it for good.
Session 67: Earth's Destruction?
Dominator, Wiendigo, Iceheart, Siawase, and the other Resistance members are now faced with the task of stopping Earth from being destroyed. As they fight their way through the Tsivrixsh forces and enter the ship, they come across Xriletsone one more time. He claims the only honor he can have now is fighting the team, so he engages Dominator in a battle as the rest of the team works on stopping the ship. However, during their battle, Dominator manages to knock off his mask, revealing that Xriletsone is a human, who was enhanced mentally and physically - and that despite his trying to fight his "programming", he cannot do it. In the end, he stabs himself rather than fight Dominator any longer. The group then prepares to escape, with Iceheart flying the shuttle - revealing that her memory has been restored to her. Wiendigo, naturally, prepares to kill her, but things go rough as the shuttle begins to crash and they are forced to work together to get everyone off. After the shuttle crash, Wiendigo and Iceheart reach a truce with one another. The Resistance has saved the war-torn Earth ... but where will they go now?
Meanwhile, Spirit - who has been kicked out of her own body (which is inhabited by Emily) - is now faced with the biggest decision of her life. Will she marry Ripple when he asks her to? The others, however, are concerned with Snipe - especially when Death Star announces that Snipe's powers are increasing drastically, but his body seems to be giving out. Emily vows to get Snipe to see X2 - one way or another, more concerned with him than her own predictament - how is a dead person going to find a host body, since she can't stay in Spirit's forever?
As the team investigates the underworld problem, Death Star is forced back into a leadership position - but even as they gain clues, destruction occurs and Snipe uses it as leverage to prove that Death Star isn't as good as everyone seems to think he is. However, it's becoming increasingly obvious to everyone that Snipe is about to break - and take everyone with him.
Session 69: Reboot Part 2 - The Breaking Point
Snipe and Dias are training in some down time when suddenly Dias transforms into his alter ego Dark Heart once again. The creature begins to attack Snipe with the full intent of killing him and it seems nothing is capable of stopping it, when suddenly the battle turns tides and Snipe beats him down with the help of the simulator. However, it seems Snipe's body is damaged - even though he's showing no signs of slowing down. What, exactly, is eating away at him?
Next, Garland and Snipe begin to fight - with Snipe increasingly unstable, someone has to put a stop to him. And it's up to the strongest of them, Garland Hianule, to do it. Death Star thinks that by engaging him in battle, they learn what exactly is destroying Snipe's body. As the two titans come to blows, trying to take the other down, the others work on the Emily/Spirit body situation.
When the fights come to an end, Snipe orders the team to stop going to Death Star for help - demanding they only obey his own orders. And he comes up with a suicide plan to defeat the Tsivrixsh Empire. In the end, the team rejects his plans, sending Snipe off in a depressed state. X2 then informs then that Snipe has been infected with some new strain of virus that is causing him to burn up his powers rapidly and is slowly killing him - and also driving him mentally insane.
The team is about to deal with this new problem, when they learn from Drake that Snipe has decided to take the underworld of crime on alone. The others join their crazed leader in the fight, with Gravedigger coming in with an all new mech designed by Slasher. The team manages to clear the enemies out and Snipe finally steps down as leader, realizing he's dying and decides not to take the team down with him. Which makes Death Star the new leader.
Time for a change.
January 31st, 2200. Five months earlier. Death Star is offically made the new leader of the group as a voting commences. Cipher, a mark II. reploid, can't stand the idea of DS being the leader, but the others seem to think it's okay. And the first thing Death Star does is bring in some familiar faces from the past - such as Blackjack, Ariel, Cheryl, and Slasher, to become an offical part of the team. Now Snipe, Diamondback, Spirit, Garland, Cipher, Dias, Elayne, Gravedigger, and Ripple have to face some of their more experienced counter parts. And Snipe, despite being taken slowly out by the virus, seems to becoming more relaxed with the burden of command off his shoulders.
March 1st, 2200. The big day has arrived for Ripple and Spirit - their wedding day. As the entire team settles in for the big wedding, they will all have to face: the happiest day of the two lovebird's lives. And a beautiful wedding it is. Also, it seems love might be blooming elsewhere, as Death Star has his breath taken away at a stunning dress worn by Ariel. While Garland weds Ripple and Spirit, Snipe leaves the wedding ceremony, where Gravedigger follows. Snipe confesses it's hard to watch the two wed, since he'll never have a chance at that sort of life himself, with the virus killing him. Afterwards, at the party, the group mingles and has a good time, with Death Star and Ariel throwing cake at each other.
April 14th, 2200. The Fury encounters part of the Tsivrixsh battle fleet and Death Star orders the first mech battle to proceed. As the Wraiths prepare to fight against impossible odds in their mechs, they encounter a powerful enemy mech known as "FireClaw". As the pilot takes them around the block, ponding on them, the others manage to destroy parts of the battle fleet. Even though, in the end, the FireClaw escapes, it's a stunning victory for the Wraiths.
April 18th, 2200. The Wraiths practice using their mechs, which were designed by the brilliant Slasher. However, friendly competition turns nasty as Dias and Maestro compete for the title of best mech pilot. In the end, Maestro bests Dias, but this is one rivalary that won't die down easily - especially since these two have been competing since the early days.
April 20th, 2200. The team begins to hit the Tsivrixsh hard and where it counts - credits and gil. As the team begins to "help" themself to some gil, they are attacked by Tsivrixsh forces led by the 7th Council member. The team takes the member on in battle and manages to defeat him after a long struggle.
May 5th, 2200. Elayne Hianule suddenly snaps with explosive results, attacking her fellow comrades and trying to destroy the Fury's core generator. Snipe tries to stop her, but she bats him down like he's nothing, using his own feelings for her against him. Spirit, once again back in her body with Emily a floating spirit, tries to stop Elayne, but she, too, is beaten back. Finally, they take the battle to Elayne's mind and free her from the control planted there by some evil force.
May 10th, 2200. Dias suddenly turns into Dark Heart once again, his out-of-control alter ego. As Dark Heart tears through the Fury, smashing the Wraiths down like they are toys, Gravedigger does the only thing he can think of doing: going to the person who first brought Dark Heart out of Dias - Eve. But even she can't do anything for him, so in the end, X2 and the others have to tranqualize the beast until he returns to Dias.
May 19th, 2200. Death Star and Sigma begin negotiations as the rest of the Wraiths relax and enjoy some downtime. But with Mavericks also "enjoying" some "downtime", the two groups come into conflict. As negotiations become strained, Sigma challenges anyone to take him on in a fight one on one and Garland accepts. Sigma vs. Garland Round 1 begins. As the two battle it out, Sigma stabs Garland in the stomach with his scythe, bringing him to his knees and defeating him. Sigma is about to finish him off when the rest of the Wraiths show up, forcing him to stop. He then claims he'll give DS his support in the upcoming battles and leaves. Ripple, meanwhile, makes a valient sacrifice to heal Diamondback's girlfriend and slips into a coma.
May 28th, 2200. Xrileshr had left back when Death Star became the leader of the team, right after Snipe's mental problems. And now he's in trouble and needs the Wraiths to help him out. The team takes on the assignment of helping out his forces take control of a base that seems to have some importance to the alien. The team launches all their forces into the battle, bringing out the mechs once again to do battle. When FireClaw shows up to stop them, the battle becomes increasingly difficult until they manage to prevail. Another victory, though it's obvious the team is wearing down their defenses. With their mechs trashed and the Fury's engines knocked offline from the fierce battle, a new plan must be formed, and soon.
May 29th, 2200. Reinforcements are coming to destroy the Fury while it's weakened from the damage dealt to it during the previous battle. Ripple finally comes out of his coma, having dealt with the troublesome disease he took from Diamondback's girlfriend. And Death Star recovers from his wounds from the battle, showing signs of affection toward Ariel when she comes to wake him up for the upcoming battle. Once again the Wraiths take to the mechs, having to protect the Fury at all costs as it tries to get repaired. As the battle breaks out, FireClaw attacks with renewed vigor, trashing the Wraiths. After the battle, Seraphna finally arrives, having been working her way to the Fury for a while. And surprise surprise, Garland and Seraphna are married!
June 1st, 2200. Sigma and the Wraiths take the fight to the Tsivrixsh now, attacking a spacestation of theirs. As the attack proceeds, the team must face some terrible situations as evil counterparts of themselves show up and battle them. Finally, in the end, they manage to take over the station, which is set up in a key location. And now the announcement comes in: the station will become the Wraiths new base of operations.
June 6th, 2200. The Fury begins to transfer supplies and people over to Origin, the new base of operations of the Wraiths. As they bring over supplies, the group prepares to say goodbye to their home for the past seven months. And they also bring over their criminals, such as the manager, the squirrel...and Eve. In the end, the team stands together, making a vow to stick together and see the fight to it's conclusion. And Death Star finds a cat and names him Azuls.
June 31st, 2200. Present Day. The pirates arrive at Origin and deliver their cargo over to Death Star, enabling him to prepare for the next phase of his war effort. To reclaim Earth - their home.
